(a) Have you tried the Magpul / QD system Really Right Stuff is going to? It seems like the most well-thought out connector, and it's standardized, the benefits of coming from a market with real volume
(b) There's gotta be a good story to the pelvis, right??

The secret is out: I cheated on the Spider Pro Holster. But this is old news, I've been shooting with the MM since summer
I cracked my pelvic bone back in 2012 during my trip to Hawaii and I couldn't walk for 2 months. So when I photographed weddings a few years ago with a simple dual D700 + 28G/85G, the weight wasn't an issue.
As my setup got bigger and heavier like D3s bodies and 24-70 + 70-200, weight on my hips became an issue during a 12+ hour wedding day.
Each system has its pluses and minuses but I prefer the MM over Spider ...Show more →
I've gone the other way - from the MM to the Spider (though like you, I opted to forego the supplied commando utility belt in favour of a sturdy tan leather belt) I still have the MM and feel loathe to part with it just in case....
i do love all the pictures in this thread. these are my first shots id like to show off alittle. Nothing special other then the lens but i do love the 3d effect it produces from such simple photos.
Omg I cannot wait to get this lens! I'm getting it after Christmas!
It looks like you don't really need much post processing either when you use it am I right?

After just looking at my quick test shots yesterday, this lens is special. I can't put my finger on it but even though I would have rather have had a 135, this looks better to me than the Canon 135 F2, which I think is an amazing lens. It's so sharp, amazing bokeh, but more than that just has a special look to the images. Loving this lens.

I haven't tried it but I will look into it! Never heard of this system to be honest.
Pelvis story: kinda funny story
So my friend and I decided to fly down to Hawaii for a wedding that we've been invited to.
We all rented a house in Kona and had friends all over the US come to the wedding.
Two hours after we landed, I was riding the longboard around the house and one of the guys from Alaska dared me to go down the street which went downhill.
I was stupid enough to do it, thinking I could, since I used to skateboard back when I was 14.
Sure enough, as soon as I started rolling, I gained speed very fast; I must say I was going about 40-50mph before I lost control.
Needless to say, I was badly hurt... all over the place. From my arms down to my toes.
