nextelbuddy, what a fantastic shoots! How is the autofocus performance specially in regards of tracking movement? Thinking about this lens for my dog/pet photography.

it definitely tracks well with AF-C and focus release ON.
I also do a lot of panning and tracking myself so im not totally relaying on AF to help me out since I know overall its really not that great with 1.4 lenses in general.
Anyone done any astrophotography with the lens? I have not looked through all the pages of this thread, but I am seeing mostly portraits and some nifty close ups.
some automotive photography. Went to the track wit my friend and watched some fast cars, on our way out decided why not grab a few of his car. hes been asking for ever lol
My last day in town was Oct 5th (and this was the day I shot photos of the festival). I showed up too early at Kathu Shrine and was overtaken by the parade as I returned to my hotel. I think they made it to my hotel around 8 am.
