What Did you sell your 105 and buy another? Don’t feel bad I did the same thing because my first one was deemed by me, a lemon. After sending it to Nikon to get it cleaned it still had Dust in it and I was just fed up. My new one seems to be much sharper and better corrected anyway. So I am happier as a result

I will never sell another 105 again.
105 all day at this session yesterday
available light
I hope everyone is doing well.
I just had to take a few deep breaths. and say "everything is going to be ok" three times.
I had the 105 1.4 from launch.
stopped shooting my d810, and transitioned to two d750.
decided to go back to the 85 1.4g for my tele prime, sold my 105.
and that is only b/c I really REALLY love my 70-200E.
but then I got a d850 and decided the 85 1.4g is no longer good enough.
sold it, and got the 105 again, did a few jobs and boom. 105 is my true love. should have never left her.
I did notice some dust inside on both ends.
so I sent it to melville for a cnc (nps).
shipped in monday, they got it tuesday and said, ok we will take care of you, no problem, no charge.
logged in today to get tracking, as last time I did this arrangement, with my prev copy - I had the lens back the same week.
but alas, I was afraid of this.
the dreaded PARTS HOLD
everything is going to be ok. everything is going to be ok. everything is going to be ok.
70-200e no longer the "girl on the side" - it's your time to shine, again, honey.
