I recently spent a few weeks in Lanzarote eyeing up a Sigma 135mm Art lens, but then discovered this thread. I must say I was blown away with the imagery and quickly forgot about the Sigma... Although I'll probably get that soon.
I've joined the site as I realise I'm just a photographic geek...

Boy am I happy
A nice set Allan... I used my 105mm yesterday and was reminded how slow the focus was and it is less sharp than my Sigma 135mm. I almost considered selling the 105mm, but it is still a good lens, especially for astrophotography.
However I do like your natural light photography you shared. The shot of the boy next to the tree is nice, but he is over exposed. If you shot RAW, you could bring the highlights down. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

I want ask you: am choose between two lenses Nikon 105 1.4E and Nikon 24-70 2.8E. I think that 24-70 is more universal,but i dont know what of them select. Please tell me are there been some problems on these lenses? Thank you a lot for answers and thank you for this amazing shots (sorry for my english, am from Russia)
