I need to double check the"looking larger" comment. I do not have such experience as if anything they look slimmer. Maybe, affected by subject to camera plane distance? The 200G is still very much needed for moving subject and yes the Bokeh is creamier than the 105E
I was planning to shoot the 200G and 105E side by side in the previous few days but was only able to shoot each separately and not for the same set up.
I will try today, but I don't think I will make it as the shoot is outdoor and needs lot of camera mobility.
My daughter prefers the photo's taken with the 105. And she could care less about the bokeh and sharpness, color. Trust me, young girls mostly just care about how they look in the photo. Most girls period.

Unfortunately they will never be the same weight and size and why some people prefer the 105.
I did a family of 12 a couple of weeks ago. I started with the 200 for individual shots of the kids then switched to the 105 for group shots as it was easier to carry and work with with large groups.

Probably the 200 but it's almost a toss up. And unfortunately they are not the same weight and price. They are both so good it's almost like when we had to buy a 4k TV. The top tier Samsung and Sony were so close I had a hard time telling which I liked better. I like the compression better on the 200 for 80% of the shots, but I think the 105 has better color and it definitely has more character.
