Very nice djordjez. simple and effective. Do you mind telling us what bulb you used? Also, is that a self portrait?

Also, like you, I have been following this thread for a long time. And not enough budget to buy for strobes.

Also my first post

Everybody here are awesome... thanks for the contribution.

Britt, what dell monitor is that? the 3007? It's looks terribly wide for the ones I've seen. I have an old but good 2405 that's been awesome for me.

Oh nevermind, it's where you stitched it. I can see the pattern underneath the table, on the floor, speaker and keyboard.

Interesting.

Platform I built about 2 weeks ago out of this neat hard wood piece together stuff I found at Home Depot. Currently the main stay of my shooting area.

Thanks. I have played for 20 years and the Vetta II is the best amp I have ever owned. I also have a ProTools TDM system and want to get back into recording.

trentchau

You are the first to catch my crappy seam job. Its a 2405... the best monitor EVER... unless you get the 3005... what a beast!

Beautiful work. I really light the crop and the backlight-rimming her hair in the 3rd image.

I'd like to know about the wood floor platform. I've been thinking of trying to build something like that in kind of a modular configuration that I disassemble easily. Anyone else do that?

the platform cost me about $200 to build, and it's compeltely modular. It worked extremely well. I got 3 boxes at home depot and it builds an 8' by 8' platform.

Comes in various colors also. It's construction grade so it seems to hold up well.

Are they wood planks? How do you keep them together without glue?

Great stuff!

I moved into my new studio this week. I'll post photos once I get moved in. I shot some products in it for P&G yesterday.

Here's a few shots of my portable studio. A Quantum X5D (400ws), and a T5D (200ws), both battery powered, with Pocketwizards and assorted softboxes and umbrellas.
