Alrighty, Serg. You got some really good examples there of the setups you use when you shoot. It's really nice to see the diversity of setups being used as some show hotlights while others show strobes.
Thanks again Serg for your kindness sharing your setups. This information is very instructive, I spend many time studying your pictures' lighting and thanks to these pictures I've solved some of my doubts.Best of luck !
here is a shot of my new set up AB800's in my cousins basement..Im new to studio photography and lighting but Im having a blast.. a few of my first shots will follow
Images straight from camera. 2 x strobe set up. Midi Octa Box for main and silver umbrella on the backdrop. Composition might be a bit rough but Im having to put the camera on timer and run infront of it.
On that product shot, is that foam core on both sides, with the softbox lite from above only? ...it's hard to tell from that setup shot! ..Nice Results J.S.
I put this lightbox together because I have been selling some antique tools for a relative and wanted to make sure his antique are represnted as best as possible.
The frame is made from PVC. The front and rear frames have a bungie cord running through them and then snap together like a tent pole. The stringers running from front to rear are are press fitted.
The fabric is ripstop nylon that I sewed into a sleeve that slips over the frame.
I have also sewn a front cover for the box that alows a lens to peek through when photographing shiny objects.
I have some fabric that will be used as background that velcro to the top rear frame and front lower frame.
I will say I am extremely impressed with many of the examples in this thread, it shows it is not the equipment but the mastery of it. Hopefully mine will reach that level with more practice.
