Just nailing down the final negotiation details on my building. It's a 125 year old creamery in the Goodhue County, Minnesota ghost town of Nansen. It sits just off the Little Cannon River in Sogn Valley. Once the social hotspot of the valley and served as post office, general store, dance hall, and creamery.
I will post photos with progress. I am pretty pumped.

wow...that sounds amazing.
still going to be able to find business in a ghost town though? Or is this spot close enough to a major town that you'll still be able to market the studio?
Good questions!! Ghost town doesn't make it sound real promising, does it?!?!
It's within striking distance of some very cool, eclectic towns in the 15,000 pop range. And it's only about 35 minutes from south metro Twin Cities. Been a good area for me thus far without a brick and mortar studio.
I've been waiting many many years to finally get my studio. I found the right space, just moved in and slowly getting things organized. This thread has been a huge inspiration (more like a montly drool a couple years back) and I'm so very appreciative of everyone that has taken the time to post some quick shots of the studio.
Here's mine (a work in progress right now, but its close to completion).
Front waiting / gallery area, still missing pics and furniture, but its getting there.
Below is our studio in Jersey City, NJ. Its 5 minutes outside NYC by the Holland Tunnel and a 11 Min ride from Downtown NYC via the WTC Path Train. We recently created a studio tour so below is the link.

Have I caught that violinist act on the subway?
Thanks All!
Carmen, you may actually have seen the group on TV also, . They are Nuttin' But Stringz (http://www.nuttinbutstringz.com) playing their song "Winner". They got famous in one of the first seasons on Americas Got Talent and played at the White House. They're music is very unique and bunch of cool guys.
