Thanks guys. DVA offers design creative and marketing content to advertising agencies and corporate clients. This facility will be home to not only photographers but cinematographers, direcotrs, graphic designers, filmmakers, editors, music composers, Internet content designers and more. The facility should be ready-to-go in February 2008 and we welcome any opportunities to help create a strong market image for our clientel.

Britt, Really looks like a neat place. Was kind of wondering if you can get by with such a small production area. Unless I am reading the floor plan incorrectly it looks like there is only one sound stage and it is fairly small. Is this planned on being more of a post production facility then an actual working production studio?
I would love to get into studio lighting but I know I'll never be able to learn without hands on practice.
If there's anyone in the GA/SC area who could use a relatively young guy to lug around equipment for shoots/fetch Snickers bars/gawk over your photos, send me a PM. I would love to learn from some of you.
Mine will be 4.0 by 6.6m with the ability to back up a little bit more through a door. Ceilings are 2.6m which is better than 2.2 but a bit higher would've been better.
Well that doesn't sound too bad. I think ultimately a minimum size for a small studio would be something like 10m x 5m x 3m high. You will do fine in yours though. It's a pretty good size, you should be able to shoot with a 50mm in there and still get full length shots with a bit of space to spare.
