During a few days backpacking and camping from the trailheads at North Lake, CA, I was more satisfied with the intimate scenes such as this one along the Lamark Lakes trail than I often am with the typical grand landscapes I usually seek. Just a moment here for you to relax and enjoy.
Angel, I'm no flower expert but my picture guide leads me to believe the tall yellow is Arrowleaf Senecio, and the white spears are either Pine Lupine or Bog Saxifrage. I was so surrounded by a variety of beautiful flowers on this trail, probably a dozen others I also photographed.
