I continue to struggle with sensor blobs / dust on the inside of the lens... Very difficult to hide in snowy pics...
Do spot-healing or spot-removal or clone-stamp or similar digital tools not work effectively or are you saying it's just a pain having to deal with the problem?
I've really enjoyed the images on this thread and would like to buy a GR. Regarding the dust issue, I would think the next version of this camera would deal with and resolve this problem. Has there been any news as to if and when a GR III might be released?

It is my understanding that although it wasn't listed as an upgrade when the ii was released, Ricoh did do something about the dust issue.
I currently have the ii and it is with me all the time in my pocket be it jacket or jeans without any special precautions, no sign of dust in over six months.
I believe other had the same experience with their ii.
I have both the GR and the GR II. The GR II seems to be less prone to blobs. I have never seen dust on the sensor, but I am bothered by "stuff" in the lens mechanism. Ricoh says that they are aware of the issue.
