I have been publishing images through Dropbox for many years, and unfortunately Dropbox dropped this facility. Now I am trying to use Flickr as the image hoster - trying to find out how this works best...
I still love my GR even though it's getting constantly beat up and I believe it's slowly dying. I'm on my second one and I'll probably buy a third when this one dies. It just has such a fantastic lens and is a total joy to shoot with. I don't often care for the colors it produces straight from the camera, but I do find that they are very malleable files, particularly so in black and white which is generally my preference.
Here's one of my wife while we were having coffee this morning in Portland before flying home to California.
Don't have any worthy images to share yet (bar is always set high in this thread) but I just wanted to say that I picked up a GRII (from a forum member), and having owned and then sold the first version of the GR twice over due to AF speed, am very pleases so far with the GRII. The AF (I have it set to high speed, though not sure what that does exactly lol) feels very snappy and reliable overall, even testing indoors by lamp light. Previously my GR experience was that the camera always did great in good light, but when things got a little more dim, suddenly the AF couldn't really focus at all, to the point where it was so unreliable you were better off not even trying to use it. From the reviews I didn't notice much said of the GRII having improved AF, so maybe its also FW to some degree.... been several years since my GR experiences.
Anyways, same great handling I remember, same amazing BW images SOOC I remember, same amazing lens I remember, and now with vastly improved AF. Looking very forward to making use of the camera again and sharing images.
