"We are currently experiencing a delay in payments to photographers. We are slowly, but surely, getting caught up on payments and resuming our normal pay timelines. Please do not apply for this event if you are not prepared to wait longer than normal for payment."

Yeah, they've been posting that in all their recent ads, as well as in their contract offers. Nothing new.

This isnt really new, wording maybe a bit different that is all. This was the wording with contracts being sent in late august. "we are looking around a net 60 payment timeline for this. Yes, Gameface has had payments delayed lately but we anticipate being caught up to a more normal pay schedule soon. If you can wait ~60 days for payment, then this should be a good way to make a bit of extra money. If not, please do not accept."

people have been waiting on May and June payments for 5 - 6 months now.
They are selectively paying people more up to date then that dependent of if they think they will continue working for them or not.
Translation, If we only need you occasionally (small market) we don't pay. They need to Cover the expenses of all the contracts otherwise its just a ponzi scheme and subject to federal law. This is ridiculous that anyone would work for them. They will never catch up and eventually stop paying altogether. Local race directors should be held responsible as well as they are now supporting the ponzi scheme by not looking elsewhere for people to cover their events. Sometimes you get what you pay for! Has anyone looked at the crap they are putting out for events. I suspect they are working with anyone with a camera just to cover the contracts they have. The results are not what is promised by the web site.

Fellow shooters. Like you I am a fellow photographer that is owed south of $2k. I am doing some research into avenues to get GFM to "pay-up". One of the issues is that we are from all over the world. I have been in touch with various entities in MASS that need some concrete feedback regarding the depth of this problem. It would be very helpful if you would respond to this webform to provide at least the basic information.
Please note that we have only required the basic information for statistical purposes and have provided you the opportunity to provide your contact information if you so choose.
You are welcome to email me here or at the email address on the webform.

Not sure about your strategy but good luck. If you get paid you shouldn't have to worry about having to give it back to the bankruptcy trustee in the event they go belly up soon after.
The relevant dollar amount below which the trustee shouldn't be able to get it back from you is now $6,425.
