Thanks so much Steve, I am glad you liked this. As for the campsites, get there early enough and just get a campsite and spend the evening. That's what I usually do.

Nice shot of this popular spot. I could see a slight crop from the right to eliminate some of the empty space, but that's minor. The light pollution actually adds to the scene here, rather than detracts as is most often the case. Light painting looks very natural as well.

Beautiful photo Jim. The light and color are just great. I do wish the tree was a little more left of center, but that's just a little nit picking. Overall great work.

Thanks so much!

Actually after my focus group testing on this shot before posting, I had cropped off from the right side which then moved the tree to where it is.

But seriously, I did play with some different positioning as I was cropping this, it does seem to offer a couple of variations.
