Thanks Bobby!
As mentioned prior (somewhere) I'm lucky to have Poof who is versed in the menus---speaking of she's already moaned out loud about the loss of color coding for the menus. I told her it'd be back in a FW update.
Well you know me, I love many many cameras and all I got to do today was heft the rig (I put a 40-150/2.8) on and love the solid feeling.
I did bring it to work tonight, so if it slows mid-morning I'll start going through the menus for discovery. I'm def. glad you are out there to help with setting Bobby
Anyone, just to confirm. When in M, ISO auto I CANNOT change exposure compensation, correct? I can't on my GX8 either but I was hoping with this new Oly.
Well, I just got mine. I drove through a blinding snowstorm to get it, so it better be worth it.
Battery needed to be charged so I haven't done anything except stick a lens on it and focus on the dog in near darkness in the house. ISO6400 1/40sec at f2.8. I was impressed it would focus.
I like the grip and I agree with other comments on the card door, it does seem flimsy. I have to update the firmware in the lenses first and then I'll be ready to test it out!

Page 68: "If you press the button while in M mode, you can change the shutter speed and aperture value with the dial or (trackpad)."
Looks like you do need to assign a button. But why not just use the exposure readout, and change shutter speed or aperture (without assigning a button), which you can do in one-third stops? Exp Comp only changes in half stops, no?
First shot outside with OMD M1ii + PL 100-400mm
Don't know where you Oly users are posting images so I won't imbed.
This before the Sun had crested the ridge.
Overall VERY impressed. Absolutely love the way this kit fits in hand.
Here is one from this afternoon, again no Sun-it's just where I live ISO 3200,
made sure in LRcc denoise, sharpening sliders all the way to the left--OOC jpg
