Interesting picture. The lines are so dominant, that i find them distracting me away from the subject. A crop may help.

The sand, or rather, the complete lack of footprints in the sand, adds a lot of intrigue to the picture. It asks more questions than it answers. How did she get there? How did the photographer get there? How did they communicate? Did they communicate at all? Where is the subject going amidst all of that virgin terrain? Where did she come from? Will the photographer meet her? That vast gulf of unspoiled sand adds intrigue.

A dramatic photo. Good choice of focal length. Love it.

I don't find the sand a distraction. To me, the sand is the subject, the person is only there for scale and to have a central figure.

I think this is a fantastic shot. I feel the lines in the sand lead my eyes to the top. Well done

Optical illusion she was only 10 feet away or so with the 11mm, I like this shot and cropping doesn't seem to be needed for me... I dream of genie type shot ..

I like this shot as well. I am curious, tho, why you chose to go with f/4. Looks like you wanted everything in focus and that lens' prime focus range is f/8 to f/11. Why not stop down and get that?

Tone,
The dune compositions are fantastic. The womans clothing really adds to the large color(size) pallet..giving lots of DOF...The lines are great...like waves coming into shore and frozen in time.
Great work!

How I felt as well. Maybe the OP can add a terse note to what the intent was so there may be no confusion to what the reality of the image is trying to convey.

Excellent work and the colors are wonderful.
