I'm new to Nikon. I registered my new lens (US authorized) on Nikon website on the 9th day since purchase date to extend the warranty by 4 yrs.

My q's is, does that also apply to Nikon body?

No. Bodies get only 1 year warranty. The 5-year US warranty only applies to Nikon lenses.

Love those baseball shots. Not that the BIFers aren't great but I like the variety we are seeing from ballet to ball. This is a long glass gem of a tool.

I did the auto AF fine tune thing with my 200-400 today, and recorded adjustments of +11, +9, +11, +18, +11. I set it at +11 and took the combo to a high school baseball game. These are all very big crops.
