The two-year-old RTHA hanging around at the Heinz caught a big fat vole and ate it right there in front of me. Backlit, but sometimes that's all you get after an hour of watching the bird watch the ground from its perch in a tree.
Out-take of my girls from this weekend. D500 with the 85mm f/1.4D is becoming a favorite portrait combo. For some things I still reach for the D800, but the AF point spread and being able to shoot wide open comfortably is just delightful. This one is stopped down a bit as the room was simply too bright and I wanted to kill the ambient some.
