Here are several images taken a couple weeks ago (and not previously posted on FM). They were shot with the Nikon D500, the latest Nikon 500mm f/4, and the latest Nikon 1.4x TC (all were shot wide open, at 1/2500th of a second).

It was the second time I saw him. From what I understand most places he plays he actually encourages cameras. He even ran a competition last year to see who could post the best youtube video of him.
He's playing here again tonight...was tempted to go see him again

I recently got the D500 and this was my first outing with it. Not the best weather to test in but the focus seems off. Do I need to tune it or is it me/camera/settings (all shots were AF-S)? This lens has no adjustments needed on my D800e.
Anyone using D500 with Sigma 150-600 Contemporary combination and have any issues?
I have been using this, not getting good results especially with full zoom and high iso. So planning to go for Nikon 200-500 5.6

I'm willing to bet that the falling snow is the cause of the soft/out of focus images (camera focusing on falling snow).Test again where its not snowing and let us know what happens.
