p.1 #1 · Good Morning, Kuusamo! (Pieces of Finnish Taiga)
Let me show you different kind of pieces from Kuusamo. This time, no snow, only summer and autumn views. This is pure Finnish wilderness. Taken just at the ending period of the midnight sun in this region except the autumn photos.
#1 The Edge, 2015, A7r + Canon 17mm TS-E for perspective corrected trees

It's fun to keep coming back to our favorite spots. Very beautiful location and your first and third are my favorites.
The fog creates a beautiful mood for the scene.
Best,

Wow I really like these images, they stand out greatly. 1,3,4 are my favorites. The last one looks a little off, like the water has no depth - might be from the tilt-shift? Great colors though

Nice that you are not shy with the sun in the frame or just some very bright light. They are all nice but #2, 4, and 5 for me with #2 being fabulous. The warm fog in #4 is so good. Did you use a polarizer in #5? The colors are wonderful but the sky has an uneven quality.
p.1 #5 · Good Morning, Kuusamo! (Pieces of Finnish Taiga)
Thank you for feedback. Polarizer was used in all shots except #4. Of course it has a negative impact but on the other hand, it made those fall colors sing especially in #5. The scene was somewhat dull without the filter.
I thought about hiding the sun behind the tree in #1 but it could have been a death plunge as I was literally standing (crouching) on the edge of a cliff.
#2 was a weird experience, it was the first time I visited the place and I got all the elements one could ever wish for the moment. I also fell asleep while waiting for the sunrise and woke up realizing I was only about a meter from the cliff's edge...I do not know what forces kept me still while being unconscious. I will remember this forever.

What epic conditions and light! Woah. 2 for me with some slight post tweaks. Where in Finland is this craziness? Congrats on catching that special moment
p.1 #13 · Good Morning, Kuusamo! (Pieces of Finnish Taiga)
Thank you all for feedback! Much appreciated. Both these places are located along one of Finland's most popular hiking trail called "Karhunkierros" (~Bear Trail, full length about 80 kilometers) including the fog photo which is 90mm shot into the foggy valley in the first photo.
They are a bit off the beaten path but easy enough to find if keeping an eye on the surroundings. The valley view requires very steep uphill climb but is really worth it.
