p.1 #1 · Stormy light and fresh snow on the Cuernos del Paine
I have just returned from my second trip to Patagonia and was fortunate enough to score some fantastic conditions. The day we arrived sunset was pretty much a no-go due to being blasted by 150km/h winds however the following morning proved fruitful; although it was looking pretty bad to start with eventually some light broke through and created a very dynamic scene - with a ton of fresh snow on the peaks to boot.

Nice light and atmospherics on Cuernos del Pain. I hope to do my 2nd trip soon and as for the wind you almost have to experience it to believe it, where hurricane force winds are not uncommon.

I had no idea why the car rental place told me doors weren't covered. He had to find someone to explain it in English.
The winds.... well, quiet one minute and 100 mph the next. I have a picture, of my wife, leaning at about a 45 degree angle into the wind.
