Wow, congrats on this! I had the opportunity to see cheetahs in the wild (including a hunt of a jackrabbit) back in 1994. This brought back great memories! Needless to say, my pictures weren't anywhere close to this!

There are incredible images. Few images just stole my heart. I have a dream to click bit cat in rain. The rain shot with mara light is just superb, the cubs hugging each other and on the tree are best for me. Which month you visited?

Subrat

Best set of cheetah shots I have seen!! I have a lot of cheetah shots I like but nothing like this. You added a bunch of great shots to the original series. Makes me wonder How many more you have.

Thanks Subrat! I visited in early September. The first two days had frequent periods of rain with occasional breaks on sun, which is unusual for that time of year. Initially I was getting anxious because of the showers. But I really like some of the shots I got in the rain. Another benefit of cloud cover was that in the middle of the day it provided soft light instead that harsh top-down mid-day sun. Then the fourth day we had the cheetahs first thing in the morning front lit with a brilliant orange sunrise behind us.

Thanks for posting them!!
Thanks dclark. I have four days worth of shots! Too many to post. But I've culled out a series from the entire set to tell the stories of their adventures of those four days.

More and more and more....sweet shots Hobbes...you will judge all your future sightings by this one...a hard act to follow!

Thanks Eric! I know this one was probably the sighting of a lifetime, but every trip, even every drive is different; you never know what you are going to find. That's part of the adventure that keeps drawing me back. It can be like a crack-addiction.

I can't add anything to what all the others have said. Congrats on a wonderful experience and capturing it so well. I enjoyed having a chance to see these images.
