It's a beautiful composition, the inversion is very cool, right time of day... Overall very nice!
OK, so I have to be the one naysayer her. Because... when I open the image, it's obvious to my eye that the color is off. It's an instant thing I see. It's too pink, or a red color cast. Not sure how to define it, but it's just off.
Thank you guys! Yes it is a really popular place but since I was the first time in the USA I ofc wanted to see it myself. I didn't have that much of competition. Only 4 photographers and like 5 more viewers.
Probably one of the most photographed sunrise shots in the park. I've gotten up early to get that shot as well. But sure didn't get the snow and the mist at the same time. All adds up to the best Mesa Arch shot I've seen. Excellent!
I like how the mountains play a stronger role in the composition than most of the shots you see from here. The clouds are awesome, and I like how you don't have the typical sun star peaking from under the arch.
