Rather than put these out in drips and drabs I decided one mega post ought to do it. We were fortunate to see 7 different pumas over our time in Patagonia and here is a rather large sampling of many of those.
Eric
ps: anyone with real interest in going to see these cats please pm me as I have some great contacts down there.
Plenty of feline sleekness on display here. This is a really nice collection Eric. Being there to see it all in person must have been really special. As Ron said, it is hard to pull out just one or two faves. But I will say I still like #15 a lot (probably part of a sequence, and it may not be the exact frame you posted already). After going through that massive and excellent post, I've think I've OD'd on cats and will have to go seek out some dog pics to provide a balance.
What is the next big project? Snow leopards in the Himalayas?
Looks like a great trip. Oh ya, I was there. It was a great trip.
Those are some fine memories. And seeing all these cats on foot certainly makes it extra special. It's always fun to see your take on the same images we "experienced" together.

A mega post, and mega great Eric. Too many good ones to pick ~ Ron
Thanks so much Ron...the cats cooperated...the light wasn't the finest but good enough considering.

Simply amazing! I'm sure it's an experience that you'll always remember, and thanks for sharing with us!
Thanks Mitesh...I was hoping to see at least one cat and so to see as many as we did and the amount of time spent with them was a real bonus.

Thanks Ken....these guys are a mix of African lions and leopards...the size of the cat is very much lioness like and the sinewy movements more leopard like...and was happy to see them moving during the day...although they could have picked better light

Yes Don...it was special. I am looking forward to seeing your rendition...I'm not sure they will be altogether that different but we'll see.

My oh my , what a wonderful selection you have posted! I really have enjoyed seeing yours and Don's shots .
I can only imagine what it would be like to be so close and sense their power , especially when they are watching you.
Sweeeeet shots Eric. 1-28 are my picks... yikes too many to single out.
Wondering where the spots or rosettes are
Great job, looks like you had a wonderful trip.
Hi Eric,
Another great series! Spectacular to see these felines doing their thing in the wild. They appear larger than our mountain lions in Colorado. Congrats again. -Jim
