Beautiful images. I especially love the comp on #2. If it were mine I'd try to burn down the brightness on the background cliff on the right.

That last one is very unique. Great work! Looks like the reds are a bit hot (happens a lot with that channel)...if you could pull detail back. Great stuff

Yeah sometimes I don't prefer super-saturated sunrises or sunsets specifically due to the blown reds that tend to occur. I don't know how to control it well. Maybe with improved sensor technology things will progress in that area.

All of them are beautifully composed and for the most part well processed. The big sunstar in #2 is not my personal taste, but I do think you processed it well. I do agree with another reply concerning the blown out highlights on the foreground immediate flower. I think #3 is very beautiful and if the reds are blown out, its only by a fraction and likely wouldn't be noticed. Nice shots and thanks for sharing.
Yeah it was tough with direct sunlight shining on the white flower and trying to keep everything else balanced. I think the only alternative I have regarding the foreground flower would be to 'paint' in some density, which may not be so bad.

Cheers! Spectacular light in all three. Maybe 2nd and 3rd are my favorites. All photos have nice near-far feeling to them, the first one has maybe an "issue" with the "hole" near mid-image region where there are no flowers but that is just nitpicking

Thanks MJ! Yeah that void is actually a small trail used to get to the spot I was standing at. It's pretty tight in there though.

Very well done on all three Adam, but I'm going with number three as my favorite. The image of the bridge is just simply stunning. I haven't tried focus stacking but, it obviously works well, especially in these images.

Thanks Jim! I suppose focus stacking can be an evil necessity. But I'd rather shoot at f/22 any day if it were to suffice.

How much of a hike to get up to the area you were at? Seems like it could be a long hike.

It was pretty brutal, clocking in at around 7 minutes plus or minus a few. But I stopped to enjoy a sandwich on the beach, so it took me a little longer. . Truth is, the flowers grow at beach level and there's really no effort to reach them.

Wonderful. I loved #2 the most until I saw #3. Then I looked back and #1 and wasn't so sure. Now just having cognitive dissonance. All three are wall hangers.

Your focus stack technique worked great but the highlights lost too much detail. I really like the way you composed the third shot, my favorite of the series. If the highlights were preserved, your second would've been even better than what already is.
Thanks for sharing!
