Oh man, these are sweet. Can't ever go wrong with the landscape view but I like the 2nd for being slightly different. Really digging the blue tones you've captured

Now those photos making me wish to get Sony A7rII, not interested in this lens, i have already great lenses and regardless it is a zeiss i don't feel i only want to invest in glasses only.

For the first, I used a lower shutter speed for the sky. I believe it was 30 seconds with a 3-stop ND filter.

Thanks for your comment. At first, I edited both images a little lighter but after looking at it for a while, I realized the scene was very dark when I captured so I went for the darker deep shadows versions instead.

Yes and it's by far my favorite native lens right now. It renders like the bigger ZF/ZE 21/2.8 for about half the weight.

Magnificient images Fred! What is so outstanding is the fact that as the image loads you see blue..blue..then wham..the beautiful sunlight walls of the rock and the snow capped rocks and water!

You can't go wrong with Zeiss SLR lenses with the A7RII but the new native Zeiss Loxia line brings the same color and contras signature in a much smaller form.

In certain situations, a tilt and shift lens is not the best choice. This is a good example where I would not use tilt to increase DOF as a lot of the scene would be out of the tilted focus plane and therefore out of focus.. Aperture stack is just an alternative way to focus stack and imo, yields a more natural rendering.
