In the town of Lewisboro, NY in Westchester County in Leon Levy Preserve there are the ruins of what has become to be known as "The Black Mansion". It was built in 1905 by Dr James Mason Crafts, former president of MIT on more than 100 acres. Abandoned in the 20's, it was burned in early 1979. All that remains are a few stone walls and structures. Here are a few B&W interpretations of the ruins that I exhibited at a local are show.
