I'm about as jaded as they come and this just does it for me. I absolutely love it. Presented with this scene I'd probably stitch the hell out of it if the wind cooperated.

Thank you Harsha. I'm missing your pictures. Post more!

Outstanding image.
Makes me realize how much I have yet to learn as a photographer, I might come across a similar scene but I would never had the patience/wherewithal to take 64 shots to begin with and/or combine them in post-processing to achieve this result. Impressive.
As an alternative you could use a 6-stop ND filter for the same effect. I prefer having the same effect without using filters which always impact color and resolution.

Fred,
Beautifully done! love it. HOw are you liking the Rx1rII?
I absolutely love the RX1RII. I can't find a 35mm replacement for the A7RII. So, I usually bring it along with my other lenses and use it for that focal length. The lens is incredible.

Thanks so much for sharing this, Fred. Bravo.
Thank you. I have to stop myself from going wide. 35 and 50mm are pretty much telephoto to me.
It's been said, but what a beautiful winter image. I love the horizontal color bands and the contrast of the warm colored rocks with frost and ice below. Nicely done Fred!

P.S. Note to self...when Fred posts his used RX1RII for sale in a year or so, make sure to ask for the shutter count!
