This is from last October at Thors Well in Oregon. It was taken just before sunset as the sun was hitting at a nice low angle. The blow out of the well was pretty strong, so I would switch back and forth between a faster shutter speed to freeze the water and a longer one to get some motion out of it. This one shot out at a cool angle and just reminded me of a rocket taking off.
I think it is a fantastic shot Jim! Well done. I've lived in Oregon since the end of 2009 and never knew about Thors well for about 5 years even though I traveled the coast from top to bottom. Of course I wasn't into photography either.

Again very likable shot.
Thanks so much! I am glad you liked it. Funny, I had traveled through Oregon for years and never knew about this either. I have been trying for a few years now to get the shots I wanted from there and finally this year I got both sunset and sunrise shots that I am very happy with.
