That shutter speed is perfect, and the warm and cool color contrasts on the take off water is sublime.

Very nice Jim! It really shows the power of the surf crashing into the shoreline. I can't help but think about diving for cover to avoid getting doused... Oh wait... MY CAMERA!!

Hey Jim,

I am glad you liked this! There was no diving for cover here.

And the camera I had wrapped in a rain jacket, so it stayed dry. Now the front of the lens? That was another story. It was a bit windy there and I was wiping and cleaning the lens about every 2 minutes.
