Wow everybody! Just about anyone of these photos could be in National Geographic! Stunning images one and all! I just hope mine are up to the fantastic standard set by all!
I am a bit late to this thread. Sorry about the large images but I now have an Ultra HD screen which is 3840 x 2160 pixels and smaller images look like postage stamps on my screen.
Lance - Really like all four shots. You posts with the 400/2.8 FL VR convinced me to add one to my bag this past year. Of course no sooner I took delivery or a month later the price was dropped and my schedule became so busy I've had very little time to use it. Drives me crazy knowing its sitting there without being used but seeing the results you deliver gives me a goal to strive for. I should be grateful I've been too busy for play. I'll adjust 2016.

Thank you very much for your kind comments, Gerard. Much appreciated!
It really is one hell of a lens, stupid sharp even with the TC's attached, as you can see from the posts above. Have a look at these from the other day I posted on the Nikon forum, Page 54 #7: https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1307209/53#lastmessage
I look forward to seeing your results on Fred Miranda when you get a chance to get out and take photos.
Jody Melanson, it has been a long time to see one of your post. just want to let you know that you are one of the photogs here on FM that that has inspired me to become a Master of this Craft. Happy New Year and good shooting.
Wow, I just have to say AMAZING! You all took and posted some crazy nice shots. I just bought my first real wildlife lens (400mm f5.6). I can only hope to have something worthy to contribute this year.
