This is a photo of my parents. They have been married for 65 years. They have 10 children, 23 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. I asked my mother what it takes to be married for 65 years. "Devotion" was her one word reply.
This portrait is my way of honoring their 65 years of devotion. I hope you like it.

Thank you Jim and Dan. I am fortunate to have both of my parents around, and able. I feel closer to them today than at any time in my life. It has taken many years for me to realize how hard they worked to raise a large family. I can only hope I look this good at 86.
your dad doesn't look a day over 65...much less married for that long...and your mother doesn't look 86 either...for having raised 10 kids which is an accomplishment in and of itself...and being married that long...they have done well! Nice dedication to them...its an honorable thing to be married that long and stick with it.
WOW 86 Greg? I am that in reverse and hope I even MAKE it to 86! Both my parents are gone and my mother for many years and father for 25....Miss them every day.
