Ron, love the photos and colors. She has beautiful eyes and those are captured very nicely. One other thing you captured nicely was her long legs.....wow! They are long!

haha, thanks Herb! Her legs are NOT long! They just look long in that pose. She's only 5'4' or so. When I saw how her legs looked like that, I thought, wow, she's going to love this!

What was the significance of #11? Did she work there? Family business? Not sure I get it.....
Her thing is that back bend, and so I thought I'd have her reading a sign at a store like that's just what she does. I did a shoot for that particular business owner, so thought she'd get a kick out of it.
11 and 12 hurt me to look at, Ron All kidding aside, great set! My only quibble is the junk on the right side of the frame in 10 (fire hydrant, trashcan).
I really like the set, but her face looks too smooth. Is it really like that or was it pp to give that impression. Very attractive girl, I guess that she is a senior in HS. Hope that she succeeds in what she wants to do in her life.
They're all excellent. Shes clearly very comfortable in her dance gear and it shows in those photos. I think 13 might be better with a tighter crop(love the pose here), and is it leaning about a degree to the right?
I wonder how the color dance ones would look with a BW conversion.
Hey everyone, thanks for your comments. I always appreciate the feedback and hearing which are your faves.
Thanks, Bob, your pics always turn out nice! No worries there!
Larry, in a perfect world, it'd probably be better if those things weren't there. But it's already a busy scene with all the foliage and flowers and light pole, so it doesn't really bother. It would almost be weird to have that one section of the graph with nothing there.
Dave, her face really is pretty smooth and clear. I did very little processing other than removing I think about three little pimples. The one shot I do have a concern about her face is No. 12. Her legs are more in shadows, and her face is just reflecting natural light back at me, making it appear that her face is several shades lighter than the rest of her.
Vcook, nice eye. It might be leaning a bit as I didn't actually check that one, too focused on the b&w conversion. I'll take a look at it before delivering it. Thanks for mentioning it.
Ron, these pictures are beautiful. All are fantastic, but, of coure, I REALLY love the ballet pictures. She is a beautiful young woman, and you captured so many nice pictures. You told a story.
Very nice set. 4 or 5 outfit changes, 4 or 5 location changes, that's a busy day. ... I can see what you are saying about #12, a difficult lighting situation but you handled it very well.
