Ron my old friend we haven't talked in a very long time. Extremely beautiful young lady and a killer set, really really like them all. Hope all is well with you.
Great set and as usual with your work I have a hard time picking favorites. I really like 3 for being so captivating, 6 for the personality, 11 is awesome but hurts my back and 14 for the composition.

Thanks, Dave! So good to hear from you and see you back on here! I was really worried about you. I hope things are going well for you.
Things are well for me. Actually opening a studio in just two months.

Thanks! I often shoot these outdoor head shots pretty wide open like this, and then a more safe shot at f/4 or so, and I almost always go with the stepped down shot with more of the face in focus. But this one really spoke to me for some reason, so went with it and it turned out to be her fave.
As for 6, I'm not totally against showing their underarms, but I don't usually do it as much as it worked out in this session. She's a dancer so she's used to her arms being up and that's just the way it worked out. And for me, the shot really does work showing off her personality.

Ron, these pictures are beautiful. All are fantastic, but, of coure, I REALLY love the ballet pictures. She is a beautiful young woman, and you captured so many nice pictures. You told a story.
Didn't care for #10 (holding up the pole). It's merely a good shot, while the others are awesome.
Thanks, Jim. She's a dancer, and I often give them a little more leeway in posing. In this case, I said to go and interact with the pole, and you get what you pay for, in a sense. As I look at it now, I think of a number of things that I probably should have had her do. But... as it works out, she ordered a 16x20 print of this shot. So... could be better, but the client loved it.

Very nice set. 4 or 5 outfit changes, 4 or 5 location changes, that's a busy day. ... I can see what you are saying about #12, a difficult lighting situation but you handled it very well.
Thanks, Corey. 2 outfit changes each at two locations in a 2-hour shoot. Pretty typical for me. She may have changed her skirt or top for the dance shots, but that's just a matter of throwing one on over the other.
There have been times where I've sat and waited 15 freaking minutes while a senior, or a woman in an e-session has changed. That drives me nuts, especially when I'm shooting in the golden hour and I'm watching the gorgeous light fade away while I'm just sitting there.
