Indeed they were too close. I just don't think about getting hit though.

Stunning images, but a little too close for comfort for me with the lightning. I probably wouldn't have gotten that shot unless the clouds were further away then they look in the image.

I know of too many incidents of people getting struck on trails near me to take those risks anymore!

#1 and 3 for me.
