When I saw this I decided to take on the photographic challenge. As I was out photographing water fowl I had only my Sigma 150-600 Sport on my D300 and also my SB910 flash with Better Beamer mounted. It took some experimenting with aperture and flash setup to get a reasonable DOF and flash balance.

That is a great shot of the moon and the added foliage sure sets the time of season it was taken Morris. There is just enough light on the leaves to not detract from the overall image IMO. I might like to see the moon a little less centered is all. Maybe a hint of noise reduction on the leaves?

Great natural framing, technically a marvelous shot!
