I was walking on a local trail early this morning and came across this car in the middle of the woods. Though its rotting metal body provided quite a contrast to the natural surrounding, it also was metaphorical in the sense that the colorful falling leaves would be joining it to waste away on the forest floor.

Thanks Jeff...and an excellent question. I was scratching my head about this too. It's rolling terrain, and there is no road nearby, though there is a cornfield not far away, so...depending on when the owner parked it here, I suppose there could have been room to drive it through the woods when the trees were much smaller, including the two it is stuck between.
