Cool concept, I like it. It has more of a blue tint to it to me. I think it works though, it still has a metallic feel to the slinky...new slinkys don't work worth a crap...I bought one for my daughter and its so stiff it won't go down the stairs...
reminds me of a joke...
What do some people have in common with a slinky?
They are fairly useless, but when you push them down the stairs it makes you smile....

Good eye Travis, the straight conversion left the the steel a little flat so I did a split tone to get the metallic look.
