I got my Loxia 21mm this last week. I took it out for a quick test before I leave town on vacation. Bought it specifically for a trip to Europe. Here's Bezos' Balls in Seattle. Amazed at how easy to focus and how sharp this lens is.

Love the colors, sharpness and rendering of this lens, and yet I still have it up for sale.
When I bought my first Sony years ago (a7r II?), I was debating what lens to get with it. I rented both the Loxia 50/2 and the Zeiss 55/1.8. I felt like I “should” get an autofocus lens because to do otherwise just seemed silly. In the end, I barely touched that 55. Instead, I used an old ZM 50 I had, and is now getting stiff. I somewhat regret not getting the Loxia.
Well you’re all a bad influence, though I mitigated with the 50/2 for £279 (mpb, 6 mo warranty). I Haven’t used manual focus in a long long time! Much easier on the a7iv it seems.
Great shots, my bank account is likely to look on in disgust when it inevitably escalates. Thank you all for sharing these
First day out with my new Loxia 25mm,which completes my Loxia collection. Brought it and my camera out yesterday while fly fishing with my daughter and captured her in the nice late afternoon light.
I think my set of Loxias are my favorite lenses of all time! I absolutely love the colors, crisp contrast and nice rendering. Such great quality in a small relatively lightweight package. I can carry the A7CR in a Peak Design 6L sling with either the 21mm or 25mm alongside 35, 50, and 85. Amazing image quality, and a fun shooting experience all in a small, lightweight bag covering my most used focal lengths!
