Sony a7R IV A + Zeiss Loxia T* 21mm f/2.8.
Images of Amager Fælled, in Copenhagen, Denmark, on a boring, overcast day. Love the structures of the almost-naked trees and fallen branches, though.
Sold the 21 two years ago and miss it badly... this thread makes me buy it again today. Maybe the 50 should be the next? Thanks for share all the images and keep posting please!!

Last Wednesday I got a backcountry permit for Joshua Tree to shoot the Geminid meteor showers. I was quite enthusiastically optimistic as Joshua Tree "has been designated as an International Dark Sky Park at the Silver Tier level by the International Dark-Sky Association (IDA)." [park website]. I am not sure what "silver tier" means, but I was hoping to be far enough from the road to avoid headlights, etc.
After setting up my camp and figuring out some compositions during the day time, I waited for dark. According to Photopills, peak would be in the. west at about 3:30 am local time. After a short snooze, I got up at about 12:30 am and started looking around to assess things. The meteors came in busts with long periods of none inbetween. However, to my disappointment, even at that late time, it was still quite bright, especially. to the west (direction of LA), as well as to the south (less so). I would say it approximated 60-30 min before sunrise. I had no trouble seeing without a headlamp.
I was using my Loxia 21mm and my standard settings are: f2.8, ISO 6400, 15 sec [Sony A7R III]. These setting. usually produce dark foreground and sky. I typically will take 15 exposures and stack in Starry Landscape Stacker. I will blend a Blue Hour shot for the final image.
Here are two, single, 15 sec exposures. These are just loaded into LR and denoised. No other processing. The foregrounds are quite usuable as is.
This is such a wonderfull collection of images, very inspirational.
I'm the happy owner of a Loxia 50 since last summer. Now considering very hard to get another (used) Loxia: the Loxia 85 F2.4.
I have the FE70-200 F4 but it lacks sharpness and the images lack "punch". I'm hoping the Loxia will provide this (mainly do landscapes).
I must say that lenses like the Loxia are the reason why I upgraded from APS-C to Sony FF, such a wonderfull lens collection available.
