Couple of images from me, Plitvice national park in Croatia....was going for the hoarfrost a couple of weeks back, but no luck...still it was good cardio, had to wade through thigh deep snow for the day.

Nice image, but the sensor flare is pretty bad. I though Sony claimed it was supposed to be improved on the A7RIII? Looks worse than my A7RII.
Thanks. Yes, you're right, it's up there.
I wouldn't conclude it's the a7riii so much as potentially me still getting used to the lens and/or technique.
Wow, I'm jealous. Where is this track? I'm going to the "Engadiner Skimarathon" this weekend. It's a nice track too but we don't have anything as beautiful as that.

It is on the Nonsbu-Skarvassbu route, part of the longer 34km Snarby-Tromsø route which is a really beautiful route at this time of year and until early May.
Good luck on the Engadine Skimarathon! For the first time in more than 15 years I am not doing the Birkebeiner next week. I might do the Reistadløpet which is also one of the Visma Ski Classics later this year.
One more from the same route, crossposted from the Sony FE images thread:

Love your images -- wish they were bigger to see details.
Hi. Thank you for your feedback. Indeed I had some awkwardness trying to size these right for viewing and I may have gone too small. These images and more of my photos can be viewed at full size at my Flickr page: https://www.flickr.com/people/kjsmith/. Enjoy
Thank you for your nice photos!!! I have seen that you also own a C/Y 1.4 85 and a C/Y 2.0 100 beside the Loxia 2.4 85. May I ask which one of the three lenses you like most and why?

We had terrible weather. It rained(!) during the race but I still enjoyed it.
Here are two from the starting area a day before. They are not as great as yours but it was the only chance for me to take some pictures. I took them with my only loxia I have to qualify them for this thread.

Hope you see my question
Hi Chris
I don't have or didin't owned C/Y 85 or C/Y 100 f2. The lens is Zeiss ZF 100 MP f2 and ZF 85 1.4
so unfortunately I have no answer to your question .. sry
But I think 100MP is my favorite .. I like macro shots
For portrait ZF 85
For landscape Loxia 85

Chris, as you live in Zurich: You can rent the loxia 85 at lbag.ch. Do you own the other two or why you want to compare them? At least for the CY85/1.4 I would say it is not comparable. It shines at f1.4 with it's dreamy look but it gets nervous bokeh thanks to the blades when you stop it down. For landscapes it is certainly worse in terms of microcontrast and colors to the loxia.
One from last night with the Loxia 21/2.8. I love this lens but that new Loxia 25/2.4 looks like it will be a winner too. But I'm not sure I would use both . . .
