Broke my finger, can't work, bored at home.

This is the result of my boredom

Canon 6D w/ 70-200 2.8 L IS II

One cheap craigslist quartz continuous light inside westcott 7 foot PLM set up diagonal to and in front of me (via joel grimes teaching)

Back ground is giant foldable white reflector hanging on a light stand.

Processed in CS6

This is a great self portrait. The only thing I would change is maybe knock down the light on your elbow so it's not brighter than your face. But beautiful light, tone, expression and gradation of the background, which is the right way to do it - darker on the light side of your face and lighter on the dark side. Very nicely done.

Agreed. He did an amazing job of cloning out the selfie stick and repositioning his arm. The guy's got talent.

And what a great reminder that one can overcome obstacles - even Canon gear.
