Capture these images right outside my hotel in Puerto Vallarta. Amazing place for a summer vacation.
Taken with a Sony A7RII and FE 16-35/4 lens.

First and second are similar. Which one do you prefer?

#1 definitly. More dramatic and the colors are better. Digging #3...the lightning strike is the added bonus.

Sweet images
I prefer the 1st for the 3D like effect of the clouds at the horizon but all are great.
Nice work on vacation!

Hey Fred,

What a fun vacation.

#1 for me, the color in the sky is better in it. If you keep #2, I would crop down from the top to lose that bit of blue sky along the top. And #3 really rocks! Love the lightning in it too.

all of them are real nice. I like the colors in #1 best but I do prefer the water effect you got in #2 better.

#1 for me....also, maybe it's just me, but #3 looks like the horizon is just a bit tilted towards the right. But even with that said, I love #3!!

Wow, Awesome Work Fred! All are great, but 1 and 3 are my favorite! The colors in the first one are great, and the lightning in the 3 is the icing on the cake. Nice work.

Nice images with great details in shadow.

My fav goes to #1, it reveals warmer scenes as a sunset capture.

I prefer the second one - it appears more about the rocks, which are fascinating to me, while first one is more about the sky. There is a clash of interest in the first one between the rocks and intensity of the light. In second one, the light is not as intense, more like giving an idea of a time and a place, while the rocks retain primary focus. The water looks more 'ethereal' in the second photos as well.
