#1 for me, the color in the sky is better in it. If you keep #2, I would crop down from the top to lose that bit of blue sky along the top. And #3 really rocks! Love the lightning in it too.

Thanks for the suggestion Jim. I made the change and it works for me.
2 Is my favorite of the set. The composition in that shot along with the water rushing in is very pleasing to my eye. Also, shot number 3 is awe inspiring! Beautiful work.
How can one not prefer #1? On the other hand, the foreground rocks in #2 have a little more pop due to their wetness and reflectance of light. Both are very nice.
Hmmm sorry but all 3 don't work for me. The picture has nothing really interesting in my eyes (besids the sky). There are just some stones in the foreground plus a washed out sea without much texture. In my opinion the composition is nothing special either. My eyes don't walk through the picture because they always look at that big massive rock. The tone's are nice though. Thats ofc just my opinion and I'm looking forward to see more shots from you.
I prefer the second, if the large boulder was toned down to make it darker as I can see a halo where lightened. The comp feels more open, less clostriphobic and the boulders sit better for me
I'm surprised by the overwhelming preference for #1 as I personally like #2 the best.
Yes, I agree the sky colors give a better pop on #1 though. The sky was actually better towards the right but the hotel was pretty much on the frame as you can see on #3.
Thanks for all feedback!
Fred
Man those are amazing shots! Especially #1 and #2 (#3 is cool and has some really nice color but the rock is a bit prominent compared to the comp in the first two).
very good stuff!
Those distant clouds are very crisp too. Unusual perspective with the far details so obviously far off and yet as crips as up close too.
boy that must've been the experience just to have been there

#1 for me....also, maybe it's just me, but #3 looks like the horizon is just a bit tilted towards the right. But even with that said, I love #3!!
Good eye Carl. Yes, the horizon was slightly tilted. I just fixed that. Thanks for letting me know!

Very Nice. #2 would be my favorite, Really like the detail and the wet shine on the rocks in the foreground. Also like the pastel tones in the sky and the clouds have a softer look. I'd be very happy with any of the three.
