nice! you'll miss that if your 810 sells
You're right but tbh I just have been having a hard time enjoying it or finding time to get out. I feel I need a lengthy break from the hobby right now.
When I come back, maybe I'll go balls out and get a big daddy prime

I posted another comparison a while back when a friend using the Tamron 150-600 got roughly the same shot as I did using the 200-500 with the tc14. Well it happened again today with a different buddy that was using a 7DII and the 500 f4 IS. We got roughly the same shot. He was just to the left of me. I think considering the Cannon 500 f4 is regarded as a really nice piece of glass the 200-500 held it's own. (Edit: Re-sized to 1024 to prevent showing 1:1)
Is this the Think-tank airport accelerator that we can see at the back of your son?
I have just bought one today in order to bring two camera bodies and lenses. (my new 200-500 included.)
I hope it‘ll do the job.

He has the smaller Think Tank Essentials.
The 200-500mm fits with room to spare.
The Accelerator looks like a great bag for a two camera two big lens combo.
