for the D500/200-500 combo!

Best wishes,

Sure appreciate it, Don.
Was there for my clients kids but wound up shooting about 30 others.
A fun afternoon and may yield some add'l gas and beer money.

Not bad for 1/250 HH, ISO 4500, and 1.7x TC.
Wow, Tony, that's phenomenal. Is it cropped at all?
I sold my D500/200-500 early this past spring and I've missed it often since then. I just bought a lightly used D500/200-500 combo from a fellow FM'er and I should have it in my hands Monday. Seeing the continued posting of fantastic images from this combo just reiterates I made the right choice to buy again. I'll hopefully be contributing images to this thread again soon.

Thanks, Scott. Yes, it is cropped nearly 50%. I would expect even better results if I could have kept the ISO lower and used a higher shutter speed.
I had the 200-500 when it first came out, sold it, and got one again. Great lens, although it is still on the heavy side for me.
