Looking to buy a carbon fiber monopod. Scuffed up is okay, as I'm trying to save a little money in buying used.
Please let me know your shipped price to 92220.
Thanks!

I have a feisol tripod (not monopod) and highly recommend it too. it's a clone of gitzo, a few rough edges in terms of quality of product, but it's still carbon fiber and very light.
I can heartily recommend Feisol as well. I have their monopod (CT-1401) and love it. 4-section, carbon fiber, smooth twist locks, design just like a Gitzo. I've never handled a real Gitzo, but the build quality on the Feisol monopod is very good. I took the platform off mine and screwed a QR base directly onto the monopod screw.
I liked the quick-action flip-locks on my Bogen tripod, but for a monopod the elegance of the twist-locks is growing on me. I can see how people get religious about leg-lock design.
A carbon-fiber monopod has been very handy as a lightweight walking stick; it's also a wicked-looking quarterstaff and club in case that's needed... oh yeah, and it can help stabilize your photos, too...
I caught this thread this morning and bought a Feisol monopod too!
Seller just emailed me regarding shipping info.
I would normally not do business with sellers from China, but for $80 shipped I'll take the risk!
Pidge! You are the first one I bought from on this forum! You got it all started
I've had 100% positive buying experiences here. Now, if I can shake this "L Fever", I'll be good to go.
DigitalBob, I'll be sure to post my impressions when it arrives.
There are a few old threads on photo.net about Feisol, mostly about their tripods; echoing similar sentiments to what we've expressed here about their quality. There was a big Feisol fad last year, then they exhausted their first-run inventory and there were no Feisols to be found for a while. They were supposed to have a new production run "real soon now". Recently they've been releasing a few at a time on Ebay, supposedly leftovers from last year's run. They're out of Taiwan, I think.
It's hard to tell on my photo, but mine has a subtle dark green color beneath the clearcoat on the largest tube. The smaller tubes are plain grey carbon-fiber. That's a Q-Top QR on the top, as I mentioned earlier.
