Love the mood here, and the combo of light and reflections does wonders, the only thing that kinda bothers me, is the cast, i assume its the light, still the greens look little weird...
This is a beautiful shot. One thing looks a little off to me: the grass at the bottom & right of the frame looks a bit too bright in relation to the rest of the frame. I'd guess you raised the shadows or luminance there - maybe a little too much? But terrific at any rate.

Beautiful image, Ben, made at the peak 'pink hour'.

Thanks Jeffrey, and right, the sun had already set and this was the afterglow. I have one with direct light on the mountain, but it has a rather bland sky.

Thanks Bob, it did take persistence, the mosquitos were thick.

Beautiful! 5dsr and the 11-24?

Yep, thats the combo, and I am really loving it. No filters, I am thinking of selling them.

Wow, superb light, colors and composition, Ben!

Thanks after 3 years I sort of have the comp worked out. The advantage of a fairly local place.

Beautiful image Ben. The foreground log really makes the composition all come together. I thing the placement is perfect.

Thanks again, I thought the log had moved slightly since last year, but when I compared images I saw it had not.

Hey Ben,
Pretty good work here, it's a good composition and the HDR from Lightroom seems to be working wonders for your shots.

Thanks Jim. This is SNS1.x. The LR/ACR HDR is pretty good, but I have more control in SNS. I hope I have gotten the HDR look under control.

Thanks Andrey. I did not do anything special to the grass, just a function of the HDR blend.

I agree, you are on a roll and have been posting lots and lots of excellent images.
You need to print this one and make room on your walls.
Thanks Jim I do want to print it, but my printer only goes 16x24. This one is a 20x30 candidate.
