I love this little Juniper tree and I finally snagged a good sunrise after stopping by this area about 3-4 times now. I normally get clear skies so I guess persistence pays. Shot with A7r and Zeiss 21mm. Enjoy!
Man... That is sooo Epic! You nailed it and showed why being persistent pays off. A really cool composition, and the color and light in the clouds is just like a painting.
I really appreciate the comments guys! The critique is especially helpful as well so any comments are always welcomed.

Looks like the exact same processing style you used in your False Kiva picture.
I have to say, that if you "finally" snagged a good sunrise after only 3-4 times up there you should consider yourself extremely fortunate.
You're right, definitely a similar style to my Kiva shot. Considering that I don't always get the opportunity to visit Utah since I live in Seattle, I guess I can consider myself lucky! I've mostly been zero'd with Dead Horse during sunrise but I'm glad that I walked away with something this round. I still have a few more to process too since I shot the overlook as well.

Love the composition and color. The white spots in the lower left clouds are a distraction.
Good catch, I didn't even notice those small bright spots of sky that were coming through. That will be an easy clone on the final version. Thanks for pointing that out!
