1 is over the top Birdie. The rest are "merely" extra nice ~ Ron.

BTW - one thing my Dr. told me to do to "protect" my shoulder was to avoid pushing open commercial doors with that arm.

Beautiful set, Birdie, with a pleasant clarity and lifelike colors.
The first one is a "Spicebush Swallowtail" (maybe a first for you?) very similar to a Black Swallowtail.

Nice, colorful set projecting a nice, late spring feel. First and last are my favorites.

Love these Birdie, I'm a sucker for Cardinals but #1 is really strong. Take care of that shoulder!

Gorgeous photos...what's with this rotator cuff nonsense! We are going to have to start a club for injured photographers. My kid plays hockey and doesn't get hurt as much as we do...I guess it must be youth. One is great and two is a wow!

Flash fill in #1 does so much to bring out the details in the body, wonderful color and detail. I might play with the comp a bit to have less flower entering and maybe a wee bit off the top?

#2 you sure are creative in a good way. I like the result here a great deal, it has a wonderful feel to it, nice creation.

#3 lucky you to get this close! Dragons are cool!

#4 Nice Mohawk Cardinal

Lovely series, birdie. That first is a stunner. Applaud you for trying a focus stack, but the BG to me is a little busy, especially with the subject bloom so high in the frame. Anybody who gets a great cardinal shot is a hero/heroine in my book.

Hope your injury is healing -

Hey, Birdie. I 'feel your pain' vis-à-vis the rotator cuff injury. Both mine are problematic from time to time. How are things in the Big Sleazy? Lovely work, as always.

These are really gorgeous, Birdie! I am so sorry to hear about your shoulder. I've had minor shoulder pain from time to time and there may be nothing worse. I hope it's better soon!
